Ian Botham was most disgruntled....
he wanted to put a bet on NZ making the target, but
could only get odds of 7 to 1.............

NZ lost the test in the first innings when they elected to field
then failed to bowl them out for a reasonable total...but until
they lost Jacob Oram they were in with a chance......

Did my cultural imperialism thing,,,,,,gave the tickets to
my 'new' next door neighbours, Nepalese couple who have
a four year old son who loves playing cricket.....[ their names
are unpronounceable but the son is 'Robin'; a fine Nepalese
name :)...]

NZ have brought in a nineteen year old for the next test...
Ian Southee, his figures at the Under 19 World Cup in Malaysia
were 17 wickets for an average of 6.64......
