Thanks Matt. I have now got the spyglass out and the Jack says
'pure AV', the cable 'Belkin maximum bandwidth audio'! So I am
now thinking even if the jack fits can it carry video?

The jack dia is 3.5mm on my newish but cheap tool, and 14mm long.
When i put the jack in the camera video connection the readout
ask for a usb conection. MoviePlus 5 declares itself unequal to
the task of accepting it via line-in and closes.

My aim is to make some clips to advertise a book on You Tube and
others. Unfortunately finance is more or less absent, so if there
is no easy solution I'll have to work within the tools I have and
hope to start the income to expand from.

But, of course a talking head has that much more impact.

Joseph
