[wdvltalk-social] wp - css and colour

I started with that Chris, from your last post, and then changed the colour. Now it shows up when the comment page is raised; the title to the blog is green as I want it.

But the blog on the home page does not change colour whichever of these, and whichever of the earlier ones, I try. And that is where it is most needed!

I am finding that while most widgets work by dragging the meta for sign in does not! I've moved it into place about 20 times, to either sidebar, and it just doesn;t either appear on home page, or stay where it was dragged. The test one on desktop seems to work OK.

I don't know if these are connected problems, but I just can't think of anything that explains them. I've even limited the widgets on each sidebar to four each, Still meta, and now calendar, won't hold. All others I've tried do.

I'm giving up for the night. It just doesn't seem to co-operate. Perhaps it's the rain. 

Thanks for help up to now. I'll try to spend some time on it tomorrow to check through. Just now I am rather perturbed and tired.
