I was vaguely thinking about buying some containers
for pasta, when my eyes lit upon some malt whisky 
"tube" containers.......

they seem to keep the pasta fresh, so
now my spaghetti is in a standard Laphroaig
tube, and the shells are in the 10 year
old cask strength one.......

the Talisker unfortunately comes in a standard
folded cardboard package, so doesn't seal as
well as the 'tubes'.......

hope the household tip is of use........
