[wdvltalk-social] scanner problem update

I could not get the scanner working on either computer, which 
threw my thinking.   It turned out to be  a driver problem.   And 
even updating the driver turned into  circus!   The original 
doesn't even seem to be on the Xerox discs.   Very wierd. 
Anyway it is working fine now!
