American readers will like to know yesterday was the anniversary of the day George III ascended the throne [he who angered the colonialists of the New World].

great victory:   Agincourt [v. les Francais]
great but not victory:  Charge of the Light Brigade [v. the Ruskis]

Joseph - it was also the day that news programmes bored us all with the flight of the bumble bee - er...  I mean the Airbus380 -  'Oh!  Whooppee;  fly me to the moon...'
