Hi, I thought I let you know that my dancer app finally is up and running: http://spk.mimo-project.eu:8080/oai?verb=Identify It is an OAI data provider that offers museum object data for digestion into another system. Currently, I use HTTP::Server::Simple behind a nginx cache and so far there was no reason to change that. More on OAI at http://www.openarchives.org/OAI/openarchivesprotocol.html.
