Certainly the home page should be updated if Dancer2 is ready, or it will remain stealth. Dancer2 should also be announced at places where many eyes look. It would be very helpful to list the good's and bad's for Dancer1 vs Dancer2, and if this perl framework generally has advantages over those in other languages, then that too. The Meteor people (meteor.com) send a newsletter when there is a new minor version and their release management is good. Niels L On Mon, 2013-04-29 at 11:24 +0200, Alexis Sukrieh wrote:
Hello,
For any new application, I would definitely go with Dancer2, without a doubt. It's mature enough to be the right choice for new webapps.
Also, in this train of thought, I would argue that we could change the link on the website to point to Dancer2 instead of Dancer1, any thoughts about that? Or at least providing both links?
Cheers
