[devtalk] podcast generator - request for info

I'm looking at Podcast Generator http://podcastgen.sourceforge.net/ to enable audio and later video or similar. But PG looks like overkill as I don't want to invite others to upload.

a) Anyone know what PG is like
b) Is there something that suits my limited needs better? Maybe only audio for now. 

My host is 34sp.com so there is plenty of depth to the service.
