Currently on my machines I'm using Avast! as my weapon of choice... Doesn't
seem to be too bloaty and appears to do its job well... That's the free
version

If you don't mind paying then I'd recommend NOD32 by Eset... I used it for a
while and thought it was pretty great

Used to recommend BitDefender but heard reports from a friend that it
started causing random BSODs... Never got round to testing it myself
