[dancer-users] debug vs wide character in print

Hello all,

when `debug $something` in development environment with log to console I
have russian (utf8) symbols in $something sometimes. Dancer app crashes
when log it with "wide character in print [...]".

How to log such strings?

ps:
last version of Dancer1
use utf8;

perl -v
This is perl 5, version 14, subversion 2 (v5.14.2) built for
i686-linux-gnu-thread-multi-64int
